I am so proud to belong to a country known for diverse cultures, languages, and food. The unity and the tradition maintained for years together is a matter of pride for every Indian. One of the aspects that have been spoken volume in many reviews and blog forums is food in India. There are so many countless varieties of food specific to each state that it will take you a lifetime to taste each variety. And when we speak of food in India, special mention needs to be made of the sweets and snacks as well. Milk sweets form major part of the sweets menu. If you visit a sweets shop in any part of the country, you will find milk sweets as well as sweets prepared from fruits and vegetables as part of the menu. Few of the sweets that you will find in many a sweets shop include rasgulla, badam phool, malai chap, petha gilori, rasmalai, petha, pakija, anguri petha, chena toast, kesar anguri petha, anurodh, paneer malai roll, shri khand, chamcham, kesar chamcham. Most of these are milk sweets.
One sweets shop from where I prefer buying milk sweets and other traditional sweets is Bikanervala. Food in India in the sweets and snacks category is well exemplified by this brand having branches in the major cities of the country. Once you start having sweets from this sweets shop, you will not feel like having sweets from any other sweets shop; such is the taste.
