Do you guys have a Bikanervala outlet in your locality? If you have not yet visited the shop to have your favorite veg. snacks, then you have missed on something! I must say the complete Bikanervala menu is just wow. I have tried almost all the variants of veg. snacks and sweets mentioned in the Bikanervala menu. And every time I have a new variety, I am all praises for the century plus old Rajashthani sweets and snacks honcho. Before I had these items at this shop I was hardly attracted towards veg. snacks and sweets. But once I started, I could not resist myself. And it has become a cyclical affair for me; i.e. I taste every variety of the items mentioned in the Bikanervala menu. Once I come to the end of the menu, I start from the beginning once again. And you cannot have so many varieties at one go!If I say there is no tangy light food item like chaat, you guys will agree with me. It is so hard to resist. We used to have the same at home; my mom used to get the same from a branded sweets shop or ready-to-eat packets that contain all the ingredients. All she did was assembling the same, mixing the ingredients. But I find chaat tastier outside. For some time, road side stalls served the purpose. And once the Bikanervala shop opened in our vicinity, I started having the varieties of chaat at this shop only. Taste and cleanliness does matter!
